The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH&RC) is a modern state-of-the-art 901bed (inclusive of 170 day beds) Joint Commission International Accredited (JCIA) academic medical facility located in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. KFSH&RC is the national referral centre for Oncology, Organ Transplantation, Cardiovascular Diseases, Neurosciences and Genetic Diseases. A full range of tertiary, secondary and primary health care services are provided. The hospital’s postgraduate education programs support both Residency and Fellowship training. The Research Centre focuses on basic and translational research primarily in cancer, cardiovascular diseases, transplant immunology, genetics, molecular diagnostics and proteomics.

Department such as Anaesthesiology, King Faisal Heart institute, King Faisal Cancer Centre, Liver Transplant unit, Paediatric Haematology, Neuroscience, Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery are just some of the department that make King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre a unique referral hospital of the region. Consultants are highly qualified and trained in their sub specialties that caters to the Kingdoms needs. Patients are admitted to King Faisal Specialist Hospital from a variety of sources including the outpatient and emergency departments. Because of the specialties offered at King Faisal, transfers from other hospitals in the Kingdom are routine. The hospital has approximately 22,750 annual admissions and approximately 652,000 ambulatory care visits per year.

Service Bonuses

For this reason,  a service bonuses equal to one month's salary is paid upon completion of each contract year, beginning at the end of the second contract year.

Severance Pay

As an International employee of King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre you are entitled to receive severance pay upon completion of your contract. This is a one-time payment made upon your final departure from the Hospital and is accrued throughout your tenure within the Hospital. Severance pay accrues at a rate of 15 days pay for each of your first four years and 30 days pay for the fifth and subsequent years
