Hospital 

We are located about an hour from the city centre by bus.

Beach

The buses to the beach run every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. It takes about an hour by bus to get to the beach. Most of the beach complexes cost about SR100 to get into during the weekend and are usually cheaper during the week.

Accommodation

Accommodation is situated beside the hospital as well as about an hour away from the hospital, but housing can also assigned where there is availability. Candidates should be aware that the housing compounds are not Western only.

Dress Code

There is a dress code on compound and employees cannot wear whatever they like. Shorts are not allowed and modest dress on compound is encouraged. However, inside your own apartment you may dress as you please.

White shoes are required for nursing staff.

Swimming pool

One piece swimming suits only, please. Tankini is acceptable as long as both bits meet.

Shopping

You can buy most things on site and a lot of electrical goods are cheaper due to no tax. However,  all candidates should bring with them the essentials they need when they first get here as there is nothing available on compound apart from food. 

Shopping Busses 

They run every day, morning and evening, with limited service on Friday. Most evenings there is a choice of two locations to go to.

Money 

Bring as much money as you can afford when you travel.  You will get a salary advance, but if  you arrive at the cut off point for payroll,you  will miss the first pay day and will have to wait until the following month to get paid. The cut off is the 15th of each month. However, Recruitment cannot endorse your file to HR for processing until they receive the new employee's bank account number (from the new employee themself) which usually takes 2 - 3 days to obtain after arrival.
